Say hello

Leave_a_comment   I've just remembered that the second week of January is National De-Lurking Week in the blogiverse. Last year I had an excuse for missing it. I was computerless, and updating irregularly from the library. This year I do not. I just forgot about it until I saw it mentioned on another blog this morning.
So, if you are a regular reader of Aurora Walking Vacation, but not a commenter, this is your cue to pop in and introduce yourself. If you think you can't comment because you are not an AOL member,
think again. It's free, people. Hey, I signed up for blogger, didn't I?
   So please, say hello.

Also: CarnivAOL. A bit of a self indulgent edition this week. Still trying to get back to some kind of a regular schedule after the holidays. Do visit.

Picture stolen from paper napkin. Several different versions avilable at this link.

Hello.  I don't think I am a lurker but don't comment often, does that count?

<<If you think you can't comment because you are not an AOL member, think again.>>

Yeah, so it wants my GDF birth date, sex, country, and postal code.  WTF?  I gave it bogus answers, and it was happy with them, but, geez....

I do remember that at one time if one put "AOL sucks" into Google, one got quite an array of hits.  I'm not saying anything here, I'm just sayin'.

That aside, anyway, I do read this, and only fail to comment because I hadn't bothered giving AOL my pedigree before.  Oh, and I have to use IE to do it; it doesn't work for me on Firefox.  Still, in future if there's something I feel moved to comment on, I shall move, and comment.

Really? I use Firefox, and have no problem. When I click on 'add your own' comment, it goes to an interstitial log-in page, and then to the comment page. Odd. Maybe next time, when your AOL e-mail address have been verified...

Paul,

You never leave comments anymore in my blog...is that because it is hard to do so in firefox or because you are not reading it anymore!!!

I enjoyed the CarnivAOL entry from Rebecca on writing.  I have yet to get over to that agent's blogspot.  I think I have bad memories. I also thought your entry was a very good choice but mainly I wanted to give you this link to a journalist I thought pours out such raw emotion it couldnt help but move anybody.  It stuns you.   And relates to an oncoming death if you have not seen it.  She just started it a short time ago.   Gerry
