back in February. Cool thing about the Internet: stuff don't go away. The results are still extant, and available for further participation. If you did not contribute to my Johari Window back then, please do so now.

Hey Paul, I want to do this, does this cost money? Where would I attempt such a cool thing? -Raven

It doesn't cost anything, Raven. Just click on the link that says "make your own Johari Window" in the little box below the list of percentages.

I just went and did it!  I don't know why I missed this in Feb, but I also did one for me that I will be posting!  I hope you will go and do mine too!

be well,

I did your nohari too... I am the only one who ever did it!  Ouch... sorry!

Did the Johari - was not impressed. Too may possibilities, not enough choices allowed. Too much overlap.

The Nohari!!
Worse.
Lot's of choices, all too extreme.
Of those available, Dawn picked some of the only ones I would accept but not all of those.
Having said that, she had to pick 5 so she did.
Of those,

Inflexible - I would say no. You do however have to have very good reasons for him to "flex" as it were. Or ask him nicely. It works... sometimes.

Cynical - Well YA! But only because there is so much crap out there being put forth as intelligent discourse.

Blase - Where the heck is the egu? (sp?) Never mind. NO! Paul is not blase about anything. ANAL maybe. Paul never gets too much info, never tires of finding out more. PAUL has read EVERY page of EVERY manual that has ever accompanied one of his electronics purchases. 'nuf said.

Dispassionate - HA... HA - HA!! Yo obviously have not argued (or debated) anything with Paul. More passion would result in him seeking nuclear (that's nucular for our US readers) weapons.

Predictable - In some ways. But hey, I consider that to be a positive attribute in a lot of ways. UNpredictable is generally much worse for everyone around you.

Please don't take this as criticism Dawn. If I had to chose, mine might not have been much different. Lesser of evils as it were.
That's why I did not. If I truly could pick 5 of those, he probably would not be called friend.

Hi Cathie,... spent some time on the past on this one. This is one very liked by beginners or counselling tutors, as if they will manage to make sure they will show us that in fact we don't know ourself as we think we do... ah!... if only someone could define what a blind spot is - known only by others (?) - I don't bite into that; well, only my opinion, it has never done anything for me this one.

Brent,

Not taking it as an insult, but as you said, you had to pick certain words.  As for dispassionate, I stand by that one, Paul is voracious in his striving to argue, but he does it from the 'logical' not from the 'passion' place of many.

If ya get my drift... he keeps his emotion out of it...

be well,
Dawn

So I filled out the nohari for fun and saw that you believe yourself to be insecure. I'm not buying it. Did you really mean to say that, or is that just one of the "nicer" "bad" traits that you could find? Just curious. Of course, if I was picking them out for myself, I'd have to go with most of them with the exception of three or four, but I'd have to underline a few. Those ones, the ones that we'd underline are the ones you should pick, right? While I wouldn't have any problem admitting the truth about some things such as "vulgar" about myself, it's true and you can put exclamation points after it, something such as unethical, which is also true would be a little harder to put there. You sure you're not hiding one? ;)
